I was intrigued by the forbidden part of this love story, Teacher/student.
It’s not as scandalous as you would think pretty tame if you ask me. The emotional roller coaster happens after the tragedy.
You feel so much for her, the pain she was in and there was barely any sympathy, love or comfort especially from her mother or bestie. I thought the two of them absolutely sucked. Feeling so alone and lost this is what makes her gravitate towards David/teacher she feels he’s the only one that understands her.
I felt because this is a forbidden romance it should have gone further than it did, I thought it was quite tame compared to others I have read.
