What drew me to this book was the beautiful cover how could you miss it, anything that beautiful deserves a glance. So I read the blurb and it’s not like anything I have ever read. So I oneclicked.
You meet Greer who has grown up as the granddaughter of a Vice President who meets a soldier at one of the gathering. Maxen Ashley Colchester whom she calls Ash, they have a magical hour when he kisses her she melts and wants more even though she has just met him. They had that kind of connection.
Ash goes off to war and so begin Greer’s letter writing to Ash.
They are beautiful, sexy and as she got more comfortable erotic and daring, He never wrote back so she stopped writing to him thinking he only thought of her as a silly young girl .
Fast-forward to 10 years later where he is now the Potus.
He wants to see her and get reacquainted, he shows her the letters, her letters and recites them to her.
‘I have them memorised word for word’
I lost it at this point totally speechless.
Who does this when you’ve just met the girl, it was such a romantic gesture.
This was just the beginning so I knew I was in for a good read.
