The first thing you read is the warning. ‘Don’t open this story unless you’re prepared to ugly cry’
I love a good ugly cry. Tragedy hits in the first pages and although sad and heartbreaking I didn’t shed a tear. I didn’t feel Embry or Phoenix’s pain or hurt.
I wanted to feel the awful outcome of what happens when three besties become two. I get they were angry and sad and I felt sad for them but I needed more to get to the ugly cry stage.
It was an ok read for me.
