★ Review ☆Careless, by Cleo Peitsche

“She knew what he wanted. For her to beg.’Please wont you handcuff me and make me come over and over?”

This is a great little story, and I mean little as it’s only a 54 page eBook which is why even though I loved this story, I only gave it a 3.5.

It gets right to the point with little back story, however, I feel I need to give Cleo credit, she has managed to give you little inside snippets into each character during the sex -which let’s face it, is what 90% of the book is about.

Kimberly and Samuel, best friends who are inseparable, do everything together and who both happen to be head over heels for each other.

Sounds simple, right?  Not so much with these two.

Samuel makes it clear that he is bisexual, but only shows an interest in men, giving Kimberly the impression that he is 100% gay but just isn’t ready to come out and say it.

Kimberly has come to terms with knowing that they will never be more than best friends but is constantly getting herself hurt by Samuel’s continuous flirting then backtracking back into wanting men.

Which is where Nelson comes in. The billionaire who has returned home, helping his sister with becoming a yoga instructor after being forced from his company. Nelson doesn’t do monogamous relationships, he is only interested in couples and thinks he has finally found what he is looking for in Kimberly and Samuel, so proposes a one time only threesome.

Samuel is a little reluctant, scared of losing Kimberly after all is said and done, while Kimberly is eager to have Samuel, even if only for one night.

As I said, things move fast and the majority of the book is one big sex scene.

Ms. Peitsche paints a very vivid and very delicious scene with a lot of dominance, beautiful MM and MMF and a little BDSM that leaves you begging for more.

I will be certainly adding the next in the series, Hopeless to my TBR list, it is a must to find out where things headed after such a promising night.

★ Review ☆ This Man by Jodi Ellen Malpas ~lil maso

 Three, Two, One, Zero, Baby….

I had never heard of Jodi Ellen Malpas, boy was I missing out, until one of my fav authors, Rachael Wade posted a review and a giveaway to this book on her page.

I entered with the thought of meh if I win good, if not no loss. (so wrong)

I try to steer clear of books that have the “if you like fifty shades you will love this one” category, I find them to be either dull, unrealistic and lifeless or boarding on (or actually on) the abusive side.

I won a copy and ended up just storing it on my kindle for later reading.

The more I read the reviews the more put off I was, seeing abusive, domestic violence, disturbing, horrible as headings had me not waiting to read it.

I mean let’s face it, review headings like that stand out more than the positive ones.

I ran out of reading material and found it on my kindle (about a month after I got it)

I decided to give it a go, I mean if one of my fav authors is pimpin’ out this book, there has to be something good with it.

It took about 3 chapters to get into it, but that could have been me being skeptical towards the book due to bad reviews. And then…

“Just tell me one thing before you leave, Ava.” His voice prickles at my senses… His face is serious, but still stunning. “How loud do you think you’ll scream when I fuck you?”

Right from the get go the attraction and chemistry between Jesse and Ava is phenomenal.

I like the cat and mouse chase that’s played out between them.

Yes, Jesse is highly dominating, overly confident, fierce and quite arrogant. He can be very forceful at points, but it’s nothing that Ava doesn’t want, hell she begs for more.

“God!” I scream.
“No, baby, that’s me”

But he is also very sensual, loving, loyal and caring. Doing everything and anything to keep Ava safe, even if it seems a little (or a lot) unreasonable to some.

He is also very secretive and seems to be quite scared in many parts, especially of his past and losing Ava.

As for Ava, she is a very typical 26yr old with limited experience, insecurities and just coming from a long term relationship with a cheating ass.

“Thank you for the warning, but I think I’m grown up enough to decide who I build my dreams on.”

She is very unsure of herself and her feelings. Always trying to talk herself out of what she truly wants and needs.

Ava has a naturally loving and nurturing personality that just makes you instantly love her, and slap her too at times haha.

“No fucking about. I want inside you now. You fuck about, I swear to God…”

Now the sex, ladies keep your toys close by while Jesse steams up the pages with his dominance, sleepy sex, hangover sex, reminder fucks, sense fucks, seeing stars, retribution fucks, apology fucks, possessive fucks, and making friends fucks just to name a few, will leave a lot of one handed reading 😉

“I can be quiet, I whisper. ‘gag me if you must.’ He smirks. ‘Trust me, you’ll be screaming. No gag will stifle it.

I’ve seen recent reviews of people comparing Jesse and Ava to Christian and Ana (50 shades)

Jesse and Ava are in a league of their own.

This book is NOT a 50 shades book.

The characters in the book are amazing, you find yourself loving almost everyone from drool worthy God Jesse all the way to glitter puffs Tom. And even the pains in the story (Matt and Sarah) have a great purpose in the story. And don’t get me started about Sam and Kate, those two deserve a book of their own (hint hint Jodi 😉 )

It is raw, full of emotion and passion.

It has a lot of highs and lows in this story leaving you an emotional wreck in parts.

“You’ll always need me, Ava. I’m going to make sure of it. Now, let’s see if we can fuck some sense into you.”

Jodi has a way of drawing you into the story, making sure you feel each and every bump in the book, whether it is good, bad or damn right hot!

I’ve only had two other authors who have actually put tears in my eyes (Roni Loren and Tiffany Reisz, the absolute legends!) just from the connection they draw in books to their readers, Congrats Jodi, you have succeeded in doing the same!

I finished the first book in under 24hrs, and what a cliff hanger if was. I HAD to read the first few chapters of 2 just to chill me out and calm my nerves. Those who have read it will understand why my nerves were shot and my heart was broken 🙂

I can not wait to finish book 2 and 3.

Would also love to see Jodi write something about Sam and Kate.

“I’m suddenly catapulted to Central Jesse Cloud Nine.”

★ Review ☆ The Siren, Original Sinners # 1, Tiffany Reisz

overload copy

“The same wind that blows us off course can turn and carry us home.”

First off, this is not your typical HEA erotic novel, nor for the faint hearted.
I have learned that not everyone is going to love this book in all of its dark and raw beauty, I have had people look at me like I have grown two heads at my response to this book. This doesn’t just skim over the top of the BDSM lifestyle, it slices it open and digs deep into the core, dragging everyone out of their comfort zone. Some have said it should come with a Safeword, I would have to agree. With that being said, this book is real, heartbreaking, and painfully intense with extreme ‘fuck hot’ S&M sex scenes, it will have you wrapped around the end of Mistress Nora’s crop begging for more from the start.
I met Nora by chance, honestly, I saw the cover at a local store with a bunch of other BDSM Erotica and it stood out, I thought “Damn they are some hot tied up ankles” 😉  so I grabbed it, best thing I ever done.
Where to start with this… I guess with the Siren herself, Nora.

“S&M is as psychological as it is physical and sexual, Zach. Imagine being as deep inside a woman’s mind as you are inside her body.”

Nora, the confident, quick-witted, dripping with sex appeal, brutally honest best selling infamous Erotica author who jumps off the page and demands your attention from the first word.
Men and women alike fall at her feet, literately. Did I mention she is one hell of a Dominatrix? Well, she is The Dominatrix of NYC, and in my opinion, a bit of an S.A.M (Smart Assed Masochist) to boot, well for one man only, Her Priest (I will get to that sexy Danish Sadist soon enough).  It doesn’t matter how you take her,  the Mistress of the underground, the submissive, the infamous Nora Sutherlin or simply Eleanor, she is one beautiful mess who is on a journey of finding where she truly fits, sacrificing her own happiness for that of everyone she loves.

“I know people think erotica is just a romance novel with rougher sex. It’s not. If it’s a sub genre of anything, it’s horror.”

Nora gains a new editor, Zach,  a more reserved British editor, who has the final say in the book contract she is working so hard on getting, the problem? He doesn’t want to work with her, so gives her a ridiculous 6-week deadline to come up with a complete novel that he approves, or he won’t sign the book contract.

He is separated from his wife of 10 years, the love of his life, and as moved from London to New York to pursue his career. He becomes well-known as one of the toughest but best editors that Royal House Publishing has. He also has been given the nickname, London Fog, for his cold and detached attitude.

Zach does play a relatively big part in this story, but his character isn’t as catching as the others, but he is still a wonderful addition and a great play thing for Mistress Nora to bait at every chance she gets.

The sexual banter between these two as they both try to gain the total control over their newly found partnership has you laughing at every turn.

“What’s your favorite position?”
“I usually play winger.”
“Zach, I adore you, but you can’t make soccer jokes during phone sex. It just isn’t done.”

Moving along to her Wesley…. The innocence in Nora’s world.

The sweet, gorgeous intern that Nora couldn’t leave alone.

The 19-year-old Catholic virgin worships and loves Nora despite not agreeing with her choices. The country boy’s devotion for Nora is so touching, and heartbreaking at the same time, watching these two is a devastatingly beautiful thing. Beautiful for the love they have for each other and devastating for you know it can not be…. Or can it?

“It’s not morning until you’re awake. And it’s not night until you’re asleep in your bed under my roof. And I could go on and on but hope is a horrible thing, and I love you too much to give you any.”

And  Søren…. This man has caned my backside and rendered me happily to my knees.

The highly respected and well-loved Catholic BDSM Sadistic Priest.

Yes, you read that right, he is a BDSM Sadistic Priest, not something you would expect to read about, but once again, Mistress Tiffany has outdone herself and gone where no one would have expected, and this book is better for it.

“He’s sexually aroused by inflicting pain and humiliation. And he’s phenomenal at it.

Søren has been Nora’s Priest and guardian of sorts since she was 15 years old, and has loved her since the beginning. He is the love of her life, the S to her M, their D/s relationship progressed from the time they met where she willingly submitted to his every desire, her one, and only true Master.

Now some with argue that he may have abused his power as her Priest, but I can not agree.  Søren wrestles with this feeling with Nora or Eleanor to him, and his calling at the church, Nora selflessly sacrificed her wants for him, ending their 13-year relationship, thus becoming, Mistress Nora.

“If you come back to me,” he said, making a rare concession, “will you run or crawl?”

The sex scenes in this book aren’t as many as one would think, that isn’t saying that I was disappointed. Most of the books I have read classed as BDSM Erotica deal with light to medium levels of BDSM. Not this book, this is hardcore, heart pumping, pantie dropping and down right exquisitely breathtakingly brutal.

“He saved up her pain, counted it like currency and the more pain she endured, the more pleasure she could buy with it.”

Sleep? I forgot to do that while reading this book, I devoured it in no time at all, and wish I hadn’t been so greedy and made it last a little longer.
From the first word I fell to my knees at Mistress Tiffany’s feet, and by the dreaded last word, I was still there, at her mercy.

Sleep can wait a little longer, up next, Mr ‘Fuck hot” himself, Griffin in

★ Review ☆ My Fair Dork, Men of Holsum College # 8, Daisy Harris

Book 8, My Fair Dork. 134pg ebook

” ‘Aren’t gay guys supposed to be all stylish and hip?” Owen smiled as he said it – making it sound like he was flirting, or at least teasing.
Harold frowned. “Of course. And we all have lisps and tiny dogs we spoil.’ “

And the end is here *sad face*
4.5 kinky heels here, the ending was too rushed for me.
Let’s meet Harold, the dorky, lovable and shy gay freshman who is hiding a HUGE secret;he is hung like a horse, no seriously, he is Huge.
So big in fact that it has left Harold quiet self-conscious and he believes he is doomed to only ever living the life of a bottom.
He has a lot of insecurities, which stem from a life or torment during his high school years, that he is sure will spill over into his College years, so he hides away in his over-sized baggy clothes hoping no one notices him. Well that’s until his crush, Owen, walks in on him in the shower.
Owen is yet another athlete. The gorgeous jock who has a heart, who is admired by everyone and who is rarely, if ever, is told No.
Owen is Bi-sexual, and very much in the closet about that. A few years earlier, After fooling around and masturbating with a few boys, he came out to his family about liking boys, but after they made a huge deal of it, he jumped right back into that closet and locked the doors behind him, playing the straight card from that day on.
When he stumbled upon Harold and his secret in the showers, Owen is left wanting to get up close and personal with that mammoth and takes on the task of befriending Harold and originally getting him a girl.
Owen is a little surprised to learn that Harold is gay, but continues to hang out and even gives him a little makeover to get him out of those baggy clothes and into something more fitting.
Which is where things take an interesting turn. Flirting banter and light brushes against Harold’s mammoth is where things turn from friendship into something more, something that Owen tries to deny for most of the book.
Watching these two young men struggle with their insecurities, and with their self-image is precious. This cuts into how some view their reputations and opinions from others higher than the feelings of those they love.
It’s a wonderful journey watching them both mature and turn into the men they were always meant to be with
touching heartfelt moments and some heartbreaking ones as well, but they are well balanced with the fun and excitement.
“But what about the sex?” I hear you all asking, well just like normal Daisy delivers blood boiling, heart racing, sweaty mess of sex to keep us all happy.
We even have some risky public scenes here.
The ending for me seemed a little rushed, and I would have loved to have had a little more time with these two. We get some appearances from others from previous books and even a little from some new guys who could possibly make the 9th book? *hint hint Mr. Harris 😉 *
Now while I am devastated that this truly is the end, there is a little light at the end of the tunnel, there is more from Daisy Harris. check out Daisy’s links (bottom of every review plus on the home page) for her other series, as well as her HOT Holsum College Tumblr blog (18+ ONLY)

★ Review ☆ Genius and the Jock, Men of Holsum College # 7, Daisy Harris

Book 7, Genius and the Jock. 131pg ebook

“Show up with beer and burgers, be all domestic and shit. Make the guys think you’re cock docked.”

“Cock docked?” Griffin blinked at Noah through the water in his eyes, “What does that even mean?”

Noah Just laughed, the sound of it echoed off the damp walls. “You need to spend more time on the Internet, man.”

4.5 for this one even though I would have to say this is my favorite. I just thought it could have been a little …. more.
The book starts three years earlier with Raj, the nerdy science type guy who takes on working as the towel boy in the locker room his freshman year. He finds it a challenge with all those sweaty naked bodies, especially Griff, the “tank” of the football team who gives him a hard time.
Griff, your typical looking big and buff linebacker notices Raj’s eyes on him and is seemingly confused with how it makes him feel.
Things heat up in the locker room with a
blowjob that not only leaves them to never speak again but also leaves them both struggling with their feelings.
Three years later…..
Griff is such a lovable guy, he is the complete opposite of what you would think for a jock, he has come a long way since that fateful first time. He takes on a job as the building security in the same lab that Raj is doing his research in.
Raj is very quiet and has thrown himself into his work, leaving no time to make real friends, besides Cal and his boyfriend Tyler (Bossy and the Brat.)
Neither men have forgotten their first encounter. while Griff has longed to be with Raj again, Raj has hated him for what happened. Or he thought he did.
As the night’s pass, Griffin is determined at convincing Raj that he has changed and wants another chance with him. Raj is just as determined, but at keeping his distance from Griffin.
It doesn’t take long for their friendship to blossom and move further.
The problem is they are both in the closet, and Raj most of all doesn’t know if he can or wants to be out.
It moves into the sex fairly quickly, and yes I know I have said this every review, the sex NEVER disappoints.  Watching them learn about each other’s needs, Raj’s dominance even while bottoming and Griffins loving gentleness, created some very hot and raw scenes.
Things go pear-shaped when one of Griffin’s teammates is a jerk to Raj, pushing things into perspective for Griffin, that he wants a proper relationship with Raj, where the world knows.
And this is where My problem is, and the reason for losing half a Kinky Heel. It was too rushed.
The “coming out” scenes for Griffin were really just a brief mentioning and then it was all over.
I would have loved to have known how things played out in some detail.
As always though, it’s an HEA for these two college honeys.
I’m dreading the next book, as I know it’s my last time at Holsum College *sad face*

★ Review ☆ Pride and Politics, Men of Holsum College # 6, Daisy Harris

Book 6, Pride and Politics. 145pg ebook
“Come on, already. I don’t have all day.” Hunter smirked. “I want to see how pretty your cock looks when it comes.”
I was pleasantly surprised with how much I ended enjoying this book and gave it a 4.5 rating.
I didn’t like Hunter Ford in any of the other books he made an appearance in, however, in this story, you finally understand what Hunter’s problem is and sheds some light onto why he is such a jerk, for better words.
Upon starting this book, Hunter comes across as your typical arrogant rich kid who uses his money and good looks to take whatever he pleases with no regards for anyone else’s feelings. In this book you will learn the secret that has made this hunk as icy cold as he is.
Hunter is constantly under pressure with the expectations of his family and always being in the public eye, so it’s no surprise that he rebels and acts out with his drinking, out of control behavior, and his long list of reckless random sex.
His Uncle has an upcoming Vice Presidential campaign and has hired an Image consultant, Steve, to keep him in line. He instantly doesn’t like him or the situation but as time passes, he warms up to his new “handler.”
When he is face to face with his haunting past, Hunter leans on Steve, realizing he is the only person that he can trust and exposes the secrets of why he is the callous man he is. setting the path for Hunter to becoming the man he wants to be, a better man, with Steve at his side.
Steve, the older of the two and a lot more mature, isn’t too pleased with his current position of being Hunter’s babysitter of sorts. He took the job on because he is in need of the money to support his sister in getting her through college.
From the get go, Steve makes it clear that he will not put up with any of Hunters crap, and that he means business.
It doesn’t take too long for his perception of Hunter to change and he finds himself falling for him as Hunter’s vulnerability comes to the surface and Steve’s fierce protectiveness comes into play.
Now just because this does not take place at Holsum College, don’t think that the sex has changed. Fumbling too hard and roughness, on his knees mind-blowing blow-jobs in an alley and gagged dominating limo sex, these two will leave you hot and flustered in no time.
It seems Ms. Harris has a taste for the BDSM, and once again we have some BDSM elements in this story (which I am very grateful for) giving it that extra edge and sauciness.
Watching these two dominating men take control of their new found lives and yes their love for each other is a beautiful journey.

★ Review ☆ Bossy and the Brat, Men of Holsum College # 5, Daisy Harris

Book 5, Bossy and the Brat. 126pg ebook

“Look at you being all heteroflexible.”

Now I totally am crushing on Daisy Harris, but this one just wasn’t as good as her others for me, it’s a 3.5.
That’s not to say it was bad, it just…. I guess it’s just that things weren’t totally believable in this story.
Ok, so we have Cal, the 21-year-old “straight” virgin who happens to be the RA of the dorm, who also has a girlfriend from back home that he is mean to marry, but is secretly head over heels for Tyler.
Tyler, the super fun loving 18-year-old who is always throwing his heart to others who treat him as nothing more than a hookup, that may be because he is a little on the needy side. Ok, a lot needy.
After Cal and his girlfriend separate things move forward with him and Tyler pretty fast, especially once Tyler gets the idea in his head that maybe Cal is more than just a little interested.
Tyler drives head first into the unknown with Cal, who doesn’t take long in giving into what he truly wants.
Things start out as simple flirting but move’s extremely quick into some steamy.
Cal is focused on not breaking the rules of not dating a freshman due to him being the RA, well he Was the RA, so isn’t ready to be public, and keeps Tyler at arm’s length, keeping half of the relationship via text messages.
And boy are they some sexy and down right hot messages.
Now, this is where the hard to grasp bit comes into play, Cal jumps right into light kink in the form of a little tying and a lot of Dominance, this kind of threw me, Cal is meant to be a very inexperienced virgin, who is only now coming out about being gay, well to himself and Ty. Adding the Dom element to it was just a little too much for me, especially when he wasn’t a Dom with his girlfriend, in fact, she comes across as the one in charge there.
One thing you can always count on at Holsum?  The Sex and the teasing men, and there is no exception here.
The build up is quite hot, to say the least, and the sex… so worth the wait.
Just like the others, its more of a short story, a very easy going, sweet, sensual, funny and damn hot story with a hint of kink.
Moving on to the next in the series, Holsum, I’m here to stay 🙂

★ Review ☆ Player and the Prude, Men of Holsum College # 4, Daisy Harris

Book 4, Player and the Prude. 120pg ebook

“He wanted to love Brooks, to be loved in return. Not treat him like a filthy slut — the way his torrid imagination wanted.”

Brooks starts off the popular smart-ass guy, highly experienced in the sex department and someone who has it all, including his own problems. His mother is pushy, pushing a relationship with Hunter, to secure a fast track in climbing higher in society.

Matt is quiet and withdrawn, with no experience in the sex department. Being brought up in a very religious home, he is having a hard time coming to terms with thoughts in his head of dominance over another male.

What starts out as a bet between Brooks and Hunter quickly turns into more.
The progression of Matt and Brooks relationship is amazing.

It doesn’t jump right into being in love or having sex, they take their time, they grow together, over coming their problems.

The sex in this book is unlike the other 3 books. It hot, heavy, hard, rough animalistic kinky sex!

When I started this and seen that Brooks was the main, i’ll admit, I wasn’t too thrilled.
He came across like a complete jerk in book 3.

I was pleasantly surprised at how much my opinion changed about him.

Can not wait to start the 5th book 🙂

★ Review ☆ Townie and the Twink, Men of Holsum College # 3, Daisy Harris

Book 3, Townie and the Twink. 122pg ebook

“A lot of people say everyone is bi to some extent.” Chris lip curled into a smile. “I’m pretty sure that’s true in college.”

Gabe and Nick’s story is a beautiful one, heartbreaking at times.
Gabe can see that Nick is gay, sadly Nick doesn’t know or accept that.
This story is mainly about Nick’s self-discovery. He is in some serious denial about his sexuality.
Gabe gently introduces Nick to the side of himself that he has been denying.
During it all, Nick tends put his feelings down to “not in a gay way”.
It’s heartbreaking watching this story unfold and watching Gabe fall head over heels for Nick, all while Nick remains in denial about his sexuality and his feeling for both his best friend and Gabe.
When Nick FINALLY realizes that he wants to be with Gabe, the story takes a lighter, loving approach.
The sex scenes… WOW!
This story is quite realistic, along with all of Daisy’s others, you can see this happening in everyday life.

I can not get enough of this series, On to the next in Holsum College 🙂
