★ Review ☆ Unscrupulous, The Manhattanites # 2, Avery Aster

“I’m a perfectionist. I’m also an obsessive masturbator, a workaholic, and I started smoking again.”

OK, let’s get that negative out of the way;
I kept hearing that this book has a “sex in the city” feel, I didn’t see it at all.
The story started out slow and took me a few attempts to get started.
I think there was far too much about other character’s, like Birdie and Kiki and that took away from the main characters, Warner and Taddy. It would be nice to have more about those two.
The love between Warner and Taddy was rushed, the author could have cut a few Birdie/kiki parts out for some more “alone time” for the pair to blossom.

Ok, now that’s out of the way, to the good bits 🙂 YAY! A strong lead woman who stands on her own two feet!

Taddy, who was brush off to boarding school at 12years after her father found out he wasn’t her biological father.
Instead of falling into self-pity, she worked her way to the top and at 28 years old is the owner of Brill Inc.
Taddy is strong, determine, witty, and stunningly gorgeous.
The fiery red head is driven by sex and sexy men and makes no apologies for it. She is proud of who she is and goes after what her heart (or other body parts) wants.

Warner, married his first love very young, a cougar, who taught him about respect for a woman and started with him in the business of building hotels until she passed.
Warner threw himself into his work and built his empire, becoming a millionaire by 33 years old and attracting the wrong women, such as Rielle, his ex fiancè who is nothing more than a lying, manipulating gold digger.
He is incredibly attractive, very defined body and a killer mouth on him.

The chemistry between these two is very evident from the start, very hot and heavy, until an interruption.
It’s a shame if took them months to reconnect.

You will laugh, scream, climax and pull your hair out with this book, that is a promise, Avery certainly delivered a good read.

Women all over the world will be “buzzing” over this book 😉

★ Review ☆ Undressed, The Manhattanites # 1, Avery Aster

“ American Express doesn’t accept orgasms as payment. But my twat will take your Massimo Euro.”

Young Lex is fierce, determined and wise beyond her years.

Growing up the daughter of a dysfunctional couple, she dedicates her life to Easton’s  essentials and putting her personal life on hold.

Well besides her battery operated boyfriend, the Masi Salami. Named after the handsome Italian Prince.

The sexy blonde haired, green eyed powerhouse sets off to Milan to sort out a problem with the studly Prince Massimo and secure her lively hood.

Massimo labeled a typical rich “playboy” turned out to be nothing I expected.

The worldly Prince, successful in business, finance and surround by many gorgeous women and having everything at his feet, however, he keeps everyone at arm’s length and lacks one thing, a real connection with a woman.

Annoyed when Lex barged in and interrupted his vaccination, He tried staying business with her, tried to remain in control.

Neither of them anticipated the electric attraction or the series that unfolded in the week to come.

This book isn’t an over the top erotica some may think. Yes, it has great detailed sex that most certainly have heart’s racing and vajayjay’s begging for attention, but it’s more than that.

It’s about finding yourself and finding love along the way.

Undressed has it all, quick sharp tongues, flirtatious banter, heartbreaking recap’s from the past, sizzling dirty talk to have you dripping, hair pulling, rejection, loads of giggles, tons of WTF moments, and let’s not forget the delicious hot sex, threesome included!

“Please do not masturbate while I do your feet. I cannot take another moaning horny white woman this week.”

Avery has hit the ball out if the park with this one, speaking of balls, Avery has defiantly given new meaning to “balls deep” 😉 (need to read to understand)

Just like her other book, I would love to hear more, much more from Lex and her Prince.

Songs of Submission Series by CD Reiss

CD Reiss, Songs of Submission Series, overall review

Individual rating with each review.
These types of books are a dime a dozen now.
Billionaire Alpha seducing the struggling woman.
Heard it all before? So what sets this series out from the rest?

Well I will tell you, its fresh, witty,  it has two strong mature lead characters and some amazing sexual scenes, BUT the entire book isn’t just one big sex scene, cause lets face it, the sex scenes are good, but if there’s no real story, the book becomes a blur.
Jump on board and come see what all the hype is about, just a little forewarning though, have the rest of the series already downloaded or close by.
*I originally received the first book, Beg via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review, the rest of the reviews are because I couldn’t put Jonathan down 🙂

*Please note;

Songs of Submission is AKA The Submission Series.
In addition to that, Songs of Submission #8 is titled Dominance, which is made up of the short stories Jessica & Sharon and  Monica.

★ Review ☆ Beg, Songs of Submission # 1, CD Reiss

Book 1, Beg. 102pg ebook

“ All right. No promises,” he said. “No lies,” I replied”

This is me on the final page, HUH! WTH!
scurry’s off to find the next one.
OK now on to the review 🙂

I am actually at a wall trying to figure out where to start, I keep looking over at my kindle, knowing that Tease, book # 2 is waiting for me.
This is quite a short book and I had it devoured within an hour and was left stumped by CD’s ending and frantically searching (and purchasing) the next 6 installments, including the little novella’s.

When Monica, a struggling musician who also works as a waitress to cover the bills, stumbles into Jonathan’s path, the “womanizing” billionaire who happens to be the big boss of the club she is about to be fired from, she never expected it to be electric.

Jonathan, the devilishly handsome green-eyed, redheaded billionaire has a pretty big rep for being a ladies man, but everyone knows not to take anything with him seriously.
After a messy divorce that he didn’t want, Jonathan doesn’t get emotionally involved.
This is fine for the tough, dark hair and even darker eyes beauty who has sworn off men after her last boyfriend, who not only broke her heart but was a career suicide for her.
The sexy and funny banter and sizzling sexual tension between the two are incredible.

“Where did you learn to do that?”
“Los Angeles High School of Performing Arts,” I said. “They taught me how to open my throat to sing. Then Kevin Wainwright taught me how to put his dick down it.”
He laughed. “I’d like to thank LA Unified and Kevin Whatever for this moment.”

It doesn’t take long for things to heat up on the bonnet of his car, her new bosses office or even a dirty old dressing room, Mrs. Reiss knows how to work a pantie incinerating scene that has you begging for more.
My recommendation? Have book two already downloaded and ready to go 🙂
