Nice Girls Don’t Ride. 63pg ebook

Once again, hats off to Roni Loren

This story is told from both Natalie and Monroe’s POV.

Natalie is very cautious of what people think about her, she reigns in her emotions to appear the cool and collected girl, who doesn’t show she mad, not even when her seemingly perfect boyfriend is not answering his phone while she is stranded on the side of the road in her broken down car. That changes when tattooed honey Monroe swoops in to save the day.

Natalie is in two minds, while she is terrified that he would be some crazed killer, she cant help but watch as the 6 foot, jeans and fitted t-shirt wearing mechanic climbs out of the truck and makes his way to her.

Nat is boarding on a anxiety attack, stuck in Monroe’s mechanic shop in the middle of nowhere with no ride to get to her birthday dinner date, when she finally hears from her boyfriend, who gives her a lame excuse about cancelling on her.

Things don’t add up, and Nat wants to find out the truth.

Monroe has a feeling about Nat from the start, and bends over backwards to help her out, even though she hasn’t been the nicest to him.

When he realizes that her boyfriend is dicking her around, he offers to take her home, and anywhere else she wants to go.

After a 5 star douchebag ass-kicking, and one hell of a steamy kiss, Monroe gives Nat a proposition she can’t refuse, 10 hours of fun, starting with Cake for her 21st.

Nat is hesitant, she wants to go home and cry into a tub of ice cream and call it a night, but a night with Monroe is too tempting, but she makes it clear, she’s not sleeping with him.

She is finally letting her hair down and being who she truly is, this total stranger has rev’ed her up and there is no going back now.

She is realizing there is more to Monroe than his appearance, he is a gentleman, someone who is going out of his way to make her feel like gold, and lets not forget, a god in the bedroom.

“Monroe, wait, I’m going to -”
He pauses for a moment. “I know, princess. That’s the point.”
“But I don’t want it to be done.”
He gazes up at me, lips glistening with my arousal as they curl into a wicked smile. He looks obscene and so fucking gorgeous I can’t stand it.
“Over? Not even close, princess. This is just the first one.”

What happens after the sun rises the next morning? Well you’re just going to have to read it to see 😉
As always with Roni’s stories, I am left wanting more, 63 pages is too short a time with these two. I would love to see more of them in the future, maybe a little glimpse in the Loving on the edge series *hint hint*
